1. All puppies are sold as pet quality and are sold to pet only home with no breeding rights. Breeding rights are offered at a substantially higher cost to approved breeders. No guarantee will be made as to size, disposition, conformation or breeding capability.
2. The puppy has been wormed prior to sale and has had its first vaccinations for Bordetella, parvovirus, distemper, adenovirus, and parainfluenza. Records of vaccinations will be sent with each puppy. Puppy has also had a fecal test. You will need to set up an appointment with your veterinarian for second shots, rabies, etc. in the weeks/months after taking the puppy home. Please discuss this when you take pup in for initial exam.
3. The buyer is to arrange a puppy check up by a qualified veterinarian within 5 days of receiving the puppy (not including Sunday's). During this exam the vet should make sure the puppy is in good health and do a fecal test. Should the veterinarian detect any communicable disease or life-threatening genetic defect at this initial exam, you must return this puppy to Big Sky Yorkies within 2 days of the exam with the veterinarian report and diagnosis. The buyer is responsible for returning the puppy and all papers to Big Sky Yorkies in Billings, Montana.
4. If your puppy is diagnosed with a life-threatening congenital defect making him/her unsuitable as a pet before one year from the date of birth, it will be replaced with another puppy. If your puppy is found to have a life-threatening defect you must notify us immediately and supply us, within two days of diagnosis, with your veterinarian's written report. We reserve the right to have the diagnosis verified by another veterinarian of our choice and/or require the buyer to have specific test run on the pup to verify diagnosis before exchange. When the puppy is replaced, it will be replaced with one of equal value as soon as available, after the original puppy and all papers have been returned to the breeder in Billings, Montana. Buyer is responsible for all transportation of the original puppy and the replacement puppy. Puppy must not be euthanized without prior written approval from the breeder or the guarantee is void. Buyer understands that the following slight defects are not considered life threatening and therefore are not covered: internal or external parasites, hernia, in-descended testicles, under or overbite, ears not standing up, retained teeth or, injury, kennel cough, allergies, tracheal collapse, heat exhaustion, eye color or hypoglycemia. 6. If the breeder has approved shipping, arrangements will be made between the breeder and the buyer. Puppy becomes the sole responsibility of the buyer once the breeder delivers the puppy to transport personnel and puppy is in their care.
7. Parents of AKC registered, puppies are being sold as pet only. Spay or neuter required by one year and copy of procedure needs to be sent to the breeder.
